Welcome to Airtime Kiteboarding. We are dedicated to teaching the sport
of kiteboarding from beginner to advanced. All lessons are taught by a certified,
experienced and safe instructor who want to provide the most fun experience
you'll ever have on the water. We also offer kiteboarding gear to meet your
needs, ability and style. As you may have already heard, kiteboarding is the
fastest growing wind sport on the planet. It can be done year round on water,
snow or land. You can catch big air. You can ride with or without your friends.
You don't need a lift ticket and you don't need to fill a boat with $$$. There's
a lot of things you won't need, but you will need lessons.
Here at Airtime Kiteboarding, we have been producing capable kiteboarders since 2001
who are able to make their own judgements and improve their skills within the limits
of safety long after they leave the training site. If you have ever wanted to try
kiteboarding or have questions, feel free to call or email us.

Our goal is to make learning how to kiteboard fun, affordable, and above all- safe!
For info and prices on lessons along the Southern California coast,

Why choose Airtime Kiteboarding
for lessons?

Airtime Kiteboarding's instructor Matt D has been teaching kiteboarding full time year round for over five years.
Working with more schools in more places and producing more new kiteboarders then anyone else
in the area. After years of working for/with IKO and PASA schools in and out of the country
Matt has developed a method of teaching that is fast, fun, effective and above all safe!

We supply all the gear you need for your lesson/s and don't try to sell you anything but lessons.
We are not going to try to sell you gear until you can ride on your own!  Sort of like buying a car you don't know what you want or need until you can drive and  your going to feel confindent in your gear decisions knowing what you need not what someone is trying to sell you!  If you already bought gear that's ok! We can show you how to get the most out of it .

We do lots of traveling to beautiful warm and windy locations and are beginning our second year of
booking trips to places like the Bahamas, Baja , Costa Rica to name a few.

Airtime Kiteboarding's adventures in the Bahamas.
We went to the Abacos  Cay Islands exploring new winter kite destinations
and what we found was amazing to say the least!
The Abacos is a chain of Islands surrounded and protected by a barrier reef.
The water is crystal clear and in the upper 60's to mid 70's.
Winds average 10-20knots and stronger with a cold front.
The conditions range from beginner to advanced depending on location,
mostly flat water with waves breaking further out on the reefs.
There is something there for everyone even the non kiters!
We had a great time exploring, riding and teaching
and want to thank the whole crew for the experience of a lifetime!

We will be posting lots of new pictures and listing some upcoming events shortly,
so be sure to keep coming back to check it all out!

June Gloom got you praying for wind on the coast?
Then take it to the lake!
Lake Isabella!
The windiest place in So Cal!
We are Izzy experts and can show you the way.

Thanks to Eric for making a cool video of some of the riding on the lake last July.
